The Flip Circus is a product of the pandemic, created by family members who own Circus Vazquez, a touring circus that debuted in Mexico in 1969. Nicknamed Beantown early on for the quality of the beans it grew, Danbury eventually earned the nickname Hat City during the nineteenth century when it became the center of America’s hat production. Today, Danbury makes electronic equipment, machinery, and furniture and is home to Western Connecticut State University. Flip Circus will stop in this beautiful city to present our world-class show. The project includes 44 parking spaces on the north and east sides of the building.
A planned residential development in Brookfield at 857 Federal Road will see the construction of 100 apartments, including 20 incentive rate units, according to Greg Dembowski, the town’s economic and community development specialist. His concept plan for the site features four, four-story rental residential apartment buildings, two rows of townhouses, and two, three-story buildings with lower-level retail spaces.
